It has been awhile since we’ve had a date in JB, so to celebrate our survival of 10 days apart, we took a little foray back to our old haunt, Sutera Mall. After finding our way out of a few wrong turns and traffic jams, we finally made it to the mall, settling for a late lunch at Ke Ren Lai restaurant, which serves Hakka cuisine. Had a reasonably good lunch for RM$52, with 2 main courses and drinks and 1 side dish. It was a good time of catching up, and the food was of a good standard considering the price paid.
After that, we ventured to have our first Karaoke experience in JB at the K Box in the mall. Surprisingly it was a very good experience. We paid RM$35 for 3 hours of singing, with the rooms rather spacious for the two of us, and quite well maintained too. The system also included recent songs and the both of us thoroughly enjoyed our first Karaoke date for a long long time.
After that, it was time for an hour of excellent foot reflexology at the Fizzio outlet at the basement carpark area. That was extremely comfortable… I fell asleep! 🙂 All in all, it was a nice date, inexpensive and we will definitely be back for the karaoke!
